April 2020:
We are planning our B-litter for Summer 2020. If everything turn out well we will expect puppies at the end of August who would move to their new owners at the beginning of October/November.
This litter will be extraordinary in terms of the chosen fathers, because we got an exceptional permission from our club (the VDH) for a double occupancy. This means that not only one male will mate with Moony , there will be two of them. The puppies father can either be the first male dog or the second.
With the help of a DNA test each puppy will be tested to proof which father has been dominant in reproduction.
We have decided for this double occupancy for two main reasons. On the one hand we can counteract biological diversity and on the other hand we can raise chances that Moony will get pregnant this time because we want to give our male dog „Sky“ (Golden Nugget‘s Rhesos) a second chance with mating her.
What is also quite extraordinary for this litter is (especially for foreign breeders) that all puppies whose father will be „Calisto Bambi Bohemia“ will receive full pedigrees. This is the first litter in Germany (in the VDH) where Silken Windsprites puppies will receive these full pedigrees. This is possible because as well Moony „Dark Moon Verona Sunrise“ as Calisto „Calisto Bambi Bohemia“ were born in Czech Republik. In this country the breed Silken Windsprite (known as „Longhaired Whippet“) is internationally recognized from the FCI, therefore both dogs got full pedigrees themselves. If these two dogs mate the puppies get therefore full pedigrees which allow the breeder to breed with these dogs even in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We are planning our next litter in Summer 2020. Hopefully we will expect puppies in August 2020. We will announce the chosen father here when we have decided on him.

Moony is now bleeding so we are curious if the matching will be successful.

September 2019:
We are waiting now until Moony starts bleeding within the next month.
For the next litter we have decided on a great male dog.
We proudly announce that the parents of our B-litter will be
Dark Moon Verona Sunrise (Moony) und Golden Nugget‘s Rhesos (Sky).
We are exeptionally happy about this breeding decision because it is on the one hand genetically and in terms of colour a really interesting match but on the other hand it is the foundation of our kennel‘s name (the white coat of Sky + name of Dark Moon) that‘s why we would be happy to keep one of the female puppies for further breeding. So let‘s cross fingers that the matching works out!
If everything works out we are expecting puppies in January 2020 which are CEA ++ and MDR1 ++ or +- with a
COI of 3,48 % (calculated on 5 generations).
Because the request on this litter is quiet high, we ask you to contact us again via mail, if we confirm the pregnancy of Moony on this website. Therefore send us some information about you and why you have chosen our kennel. Please also tell us if you are interested in breeding or if you are simply looking for a new family member. After that we will choose potential families for our puppies and contact each of you.
Please appreciate that answering mails takes a few days/weeks because of the high request and the circumstance that living with two little children is quite time-consuming ;)

The decision has been made, we will mate Moony with our dog „Pan“.
When everything goes well we expect at the beginning of 2018 puppies which will be MDR clear (++) and CEA clear (++) or +- with a COI of 5,08 %.
